We are First Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church and we would like to welcome you to our website where you will discover an array of opportunities presented within our house of faith.

In the Old Testament book of Nehemiah chapter 8: 9-10, the people of Israel mourned and wept after hearing the Word of God from Ezra because they thought the Lord’s requirements were too great and that they could never meet them to God’s satisfaction. The Lord instructed Nehemiah to give the people choice food and drink and to celebrate and not to grieve in the Word of God for surely, “The joy of the Lord is their strength.”

And this is the belief that we carry within our community of faith which promotes and signatures our vision of “Exalting Christ, to Restore, Renew, & Rebuild people to serve the Kingdom of God.” The joy we have for the Lord motivates us to serve God and mankind so that all people will experience the restoration power of Christ and direct their lives toward accepting and growing in His salvation.
